Wu True Ending Guide

Finish the Game Once
While you can get the Wu true ending before the post-game, we recommend getting the normal ending for the Wu faction first and then clearing the true ending requirements using the Story Mode function.
By doing this, you can obtain Epic or Ultimate weapons in the post-game which will help you do the fate altered events much easier.
All Post-Game Content and Unlockables
Save Sun Jian in Battle of Xiangyang
If you finished the game once while aligned with Sun Jian's Forces, you can easily obtain the true ending for Wu by opening up Story mode from an inn, and finding the golden banner above the Chapter 3 mission Battle of Xiangyang, and replaying that mission with the intention of saving Sun Jian from death.
Save Sun Ce in Suppression of Wu
Afterwards, you will need to head to the Chapter 4 mission Suppression of Wu and save Sun Ce by finding and defeating Bailuan, who is hidden in a cave to the southwest of the map.
Play to The End
At this point, you have completed all requirements you need to unlock the true ending. Just, finish the rest of the mission and play to the end of the game to unlock the true ending for Wu.
It is worth noting that there is a third golden banner in Chapter 5 that you must play through to reach the true ending of Wu but there is no special requirement to meet other than simply playing through it to the end.
How to Join Wu Faction (Sun Jian's Forces)
Reach Chapter 3
The branching paths for the three factions begins in Chapter 3. None of the choices you've made in Chapter 1 and 2 will affect which faction you join, as everything is decided in Chapter 3, so make sure you're at this point of the story.
Complete Contributions for Sun Jian
While in Chapter 3, you will be asked to make Contributions toward the three factions' forces. Make sure to complete at least three Contributions towards Sun Jian's Forces in order to open up the Wu route, which naturally leads to the Wu ending.
Faction Endings Guide
Choose to Join Sun Jian's Forces
If you have completed Contributions for two or more factions, you will be forced to choose between them. However, completing Contributions solely for Sun Jian will very likely make you enemies with the other two factions, so you will have no choice but to side with Wu.
