| 1 |  After chapter 4 starts, the Xiapi Counterattack is immediately made available. Complete the battle to continue the chapter. ► Xiapi Counterattack Guide |
| 2 | Once the cutscenes after the Xiapi Counterattack is over, speak to Liu Bei on the map. |
| 3 |  Travel east and start the Subjugation of Yuan Shu in Yang Province after speaking to Liu Bei. ► Subjugation of Yuan Shu Guide |
| 4 |  Once Yuan Shu has been defeated, speak to Guan Yu outside Xiaopei to continue. The Escape from Xiaopei battle will occur after. ► Escape from Xiaopei Guide |
| 5 | After the battle ends, head north and speak to Liu Bei near the waymark. |
| 6 |  After the cutscene, proceed to Xiapi Castle east of the waymark to start the Battle of Xiapi. Restock your portable items as Lu Bu will appear as a boss in this mission. ► Battle of Xiapi Guide |
| 7 | Speak to Zhang Fei outside of Xu after Lu Bu's defeat. |
| 8 | After the cutscene, interact with Guan Yu outside Xiapi Castle to continue. |
| 9 |  Start the Defense of Xiapi outside Xiapi Castle after the events with Guan Yu. ► Defense of Xiapi Guide |
| 10 | Continue the chapter by speaking to Cao Cao outside Xu. |
| 11 |  After the event with Cao Cao, the Battle of Baima & Yanjin is unlocked. Note that memories may no longer be obtained after the battle concludes. ► Battle of Baima and Yanjin Guide |
| 12 | After meeting the Mysterious Stranger, speak to Yuanhua outside of Puyang. |
| 13 | Return to Ji Province afterwards and head to the Village. A cutscene with Zhuhe will occur. |
| 14 |  After the events at the Village, exit the Inn to start the war council for the 1,000-Li March of Guan Yu. |

Chapter 4 Sun Jian Route (Wu) Guide

| 1 |  After the cutscenes following the start of Chapter 4, speak to Huang Gai. Start the Battle of Niuzhu after his events. ► Battle of Niuzhu |
| 2 |  After the events following the previous battle, the Battle of Shenting is immediately made available. Start the battle to continue the chapter. |
| 3 |  Speak to Sun Quan after the Battle of Shenting. The Conquest of Wu will unlock after the cutscene. ► Conquest of Wu |
| 4 | Start the Conquest of Wu. Conquer the southern and central bases first before occupying the north to win the battle. |
| 5 |  After finishing the Conquest of Wu, travel northeast and speak to Sun Quan to unlock the Subjugation of Yuan Shu. ┣ Infiltrate the castle via the ladders along the eastern castle wall. ┣ Open the southern gate to allow the allies to breach the castle. ┗ Eliminate Yuan Shu to win the battle. ► Subjugation of Yuan Shu |
| 6 |  After the cutscenes, travel east and board the Hulin Port and start the Battle of Mt. Xisai. Note that memories may no longer be obtained after the battle concludes. ► All Search for Memories Locations |
| 7 | After meeting the Mysterious Stranger, speak Yuanhua outside of Qu'a. |
| 8 | Fast travel to Ji Province afterwards and head to the Village. A cutscene with Zhuhe will occur. |
| 9 | After the events at the Village and a cutscene with Zhou Yu and Lu Su, speak to Sun Ce standing near Qu'a. |
| 10 | Talk to Huang Gai near the waymark. The Suppression of Wu unlocks after the cutscene. |
| 11 |  During Suppression of Wu, select Sun Shangxiang as companion as her position is closest to Sun Quan. Defend Sun Quan from enemy ambush and eliminate the remaining officers after to win the battle. ► Suppression of Wu |

| 1 | Complete the Escape from Wan Castle. Your objective will be to escort Cao Cao to the escape point here. ► Escape from Wan Castle |
| 2 | After completing the Escape from Wan Castle, follow the objectives until you reach the next story mission Escape from Xiaopei in Xu Province.

| 3 |  Complete the main story mission Escape from Xiaopei. You will need to assist Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei in reaching the escape point. ► Escape from Xiaopei Guide |
| 4 | After the Escape from Xaiopei, Liu Bei and his allies will join you for a while. Head on to the next main story mission, the Battle of Xiapi. |
| 5 |  Complete the Battle of Xiapi. You will encounter Lu Bu in this fight, so be prepared! ► Battle of Xiapi Guide |
| 6 | Aftter the Battle of Xiapi, continue with the main story objectives until you unlock the main story mission Assault on Xiapi.

| 7 |  Complete the Assault on Xiapi. Guan Yu will be fought as a boss here and will begin heading towards the east if you capture the east side of the map. He will be fought again after you defeat all of the generals inside Xiapi Castle. ► Assault on Xiapi Guide |
| 8 |  After the Asssault on Xiapi, speak to Xiahou Dun near the city of Xu in Yu Province, then to Guo Jia and the others. The Battle of Baima and Yanjin will be unlocked afterwards. |
| 9 |  Complete the Battle of Baima and Yanjin in Yan Province. Be prepared to fight Bailuan during the battle. Note that memories may no longer be obtained after the battle concludes. ► Battle of Baima and Yanjin Guide |
| 10 |  After the Battle of Baima and Yanjin, progress through the cutscene involving Bailuan and Zhuhe, then continue on with objectives after. Nearby Optional Missions: ・Assistance in You Province (Cao Cao) |
| 11 |  Speak to Guo Jia and the final battle in Chapter 4 of the Wei route, the Battle of Guandu, will be unlocked. Being the final battle, you will encounter a lot of generals here. Your main objective will be to defeat Yuan Shao. ► Battle of Guandu Guide |
| 12 |  In the Battle of Guandu, we recommend your start capturing the east area first before taking on the main force since the armies at the central passage will be difficult to cut through. Capturing the northeast base will help in reducing their morale. |
