Switch characters once your companion's Musou Gauge fills up in Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Learn how to switch characters, and what to do after switching characters here!

You can switch characters by holding down the Touchpad on a PS5 controller, the Options Button on an Xbox controller, or the C Key on PC, once your companion's Musou Gauge is full.
Your Companion's Musou Gauge is the blue bar underneath their health bar which gradually fills over time during combat. A prompt will appear next to their name once it's fully charged, allowing you to switch between characters.

After switching to your companion, quickly enable their War God Rage mode. This allows them to continuously hack away at enemies while being impervious to all attacks.
Once their Musou Gauge is depleted, they will unleash an Extreme Musou Attack before switching back to the Wanderer.
