Circa: ? - 192 A former governor of Xiliang, he was summoned to Luoyang by He Jin to protect the young Han Emperor. However, he quickly usurped the Imperial Court's power and began a reign of terror. He adopted the mighty warrior Lu Bu as his son to further his tyranny: deposing Emperor Shao and installing Emperor Xian in his place, moving the capital to Chang'an, and generally ruling the people with the power of fear. |
