Win Condition: Defeat the Ten Attendants and Rescue the Emperor
While the win condition lists "Rescuing the Emperor" as one of its objectives, it will be revealed soon after the mission starts that the Emperor is nowhere to be found. This would mean that defeating all ten attendants is the true win condition for this battle.
Defeat Condition: Yuan Shao, Cao Cao, or Diaochan Flees
The mission will end in a loss if Yuan Shao, Cao Cao, or Diaochan flee. Aid them in combat when their status is critical to avoid failing the mission.
How to Unlock Rebellion of the Ten Attendants
Complete Protection of Wang Yun
Rebellion of the Ten Attendants can be started as soon as the Protection of Wang Yun is cleared. Exit the Inn after the events and cutscenes of Protection of Wang Yun to unlock the battle.

Defeat Cheng Kuang and Enter the Castle
Once the battle starts, follow the troops to the courtyard to encounter Cheng Kuang, one of the Ten Attendants. Defeat him to progress the win condition and enter the castle afterwards.
Find the Hidden Passage
Upon entering the castle, a cutscene will occur with Yuan Shao informing that the throne room has been blocked. Use the Eyes of the Sacred Bird to highlight the secret entrance. Interact with the wall mounted with a dragon crest to find the hidden passage.
Defeat Duan Gui and He Miao
Yuan Shao will storm towards the throne room, at the northernmost part of the location. With the Emperor missing, the troops will split up with Cao Cao heading west and Yuan Shao heading east.
Follow Yuan Shao towards the east to encounter Duan Gui and He Miao. Defeat them to eliminate the second and third attendants.
Defeat Cao Jie
After Duan Gui's and He Miao's defeat, enter the northeastern building and proceed towards the farthest room, where Cao Jie and his forces lie in wait. Fell Cao Jie to eliminate the fourth attendant.
Defeat Xia Yun
Return to where Duan Gui and He Miao was fought, on the easternmost side of the area. Enter the treasure room via the hidden passage to encounter Xia Yun.
Discovering Xia Yun and his forces in the treasure room lowers their courage, allowing for a quicker elimination of the attendant.
Find the Hidden Passage to the Treasure Room
From the easternmost corner, use the Eyes of the Sacred Bird to highlight the entrance. Interact with the wall to open up the passage towards the treasure room.
Defeat Guo Sheng
Exit the treasure room and head down the staircase, towards the center. Slay Guo Sheng to progress the win condition as the sixth attendant eliminated.
Defeat Jian Shuo
Enter the southern gate to encounter Jian Shuo and his troops. Eradicate the seventh attendant and his troops to progress the battle.
Defeat Hou Lan
After Jian Shuo's defeat, the troops will unlock the gate that leads to the southern room, where the eigth of the ten attendants is located. Fell Hou Lan in battle and exit through the eastern gate.
Defeat Zhao Zhong
Open the central prison cell to find Zhao Zhong, the last of the attendants. Slaying Zhao Zhong will end the mission in a victory.
The unmentioned attendant, Feng Xu, will have been felled by Cao Cao after the team splits outside the throne room.
Rebellion of the Ten Attendants Rewards
Weapon Proficiency
Weapon Proficiency will be rewarded based on the weapons used in battle. Ranking up weapon proficiency raises Wanderer's level, and reaching certain levels will unlock new skill trees to spend skill points on.
Skill Points and Mount EXP
Skill points and Mount EXP are also awarded based on the number of enemies defeated and which Horse was used.
These rewards vary greatly depending on the Wanderer's performance during battle.
