How to Get Dramatic Success With Tactics
Watch for Blue Indicators
When any of your Tactics are off cooldown, blue lines may appear when you are within the conditions of a Dramatic Success. These lines point to enemy officers, as Dramatic Success can only be achieved by successfully hitting enemy officers with the Tactic.
Take note that not all Tactics have the capability of Dramatic Success, and those that do each have specific conditions in order to activate it.
White Ring Means Success
When a white ring appears out of the officer you hit with the Tactic, it means you have accomplished Dramatic Success! Besides debuffing the enemy, you are also rewarded with extra skill points every time you land a Dramatic Success.

Volley Dramatic Success
In order to achieve a Dramatic Success with the Volley Tactic, you have to be at a higher ground than the enemy officers you are aiming at. The aiming circle should turn blue when it is positioned at an officer. Hitting a Dramatic Success with Volley lowers the Courage of the enemies hit.
Flaming Volley Dramatic Success
Similar to Volley, you have to use Flaming Volley on high ground in order to get a Dramatic Success. The aiming circle should turn blue when it is positioned at an officer. Achieving Dramatic Success with Flaming Volley lowers the Courage of the enemies hit.
Mounted Charge Dramatic Success
To get a Dramatic Success using Mounted Charge, you would need to use it at a certain distance from enemy officers. You would need to position it wherein the officer/s would be hit right at the end of the charge.
Luckily you do not have to estimate this as the aiming indicator will turn blue if you are within the correct distance. Hitting a Dramatic Success with Mounted Charge lowers the Courage of the enemies hit.
Battle Roar Dramatic Success
Battle Roar may be the easiest Tactic to get a Dramatic Success on, as all you would need is to be within the vicinity of an enemy officer with your guards to activate it. Just make sure the indicating area is blue first before doing a Battle Roar.
All enemies hit with Battle Roar's Dramatic Success will have their Courage lowered.
Stone Throw Dramatic Success
Just like Volley, getting Dramatic Success for Stone Throw hinges on hitting an enemy officer at higher ground. The aiming circle for Stone Throw is smaller and its trajectory is less forgiving than Volley and Flaming Volley's, so be wary of your positioning. The aiming circle should be blue as well for it to pull through.
Hitting a Dramatic Success with Stone Throw lowers the Courage of the enemies hit.
Spear Wall Dramatic Success
Getting a Dramatic Success for Spear Wall may be the trickiest to achieve out of all the Tactics, as this requires specific circumstances, good positioning, and good timing.
You would need to time the Spear Wall while the enemy officer is charging your direction. There are not a lot of opportunities like this, so be ready once you see an enemy officer launching a Grand Tactic that has their forces charging at yours. Once the indicator turns blue, immediately launch Spear Wall to repel their charge and lower their Courage.
