★ How to Do a Battle Art Chain
Battle Art Chains can be performed by performing Battle Arts near Companions and ally officers in Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Find out how to do a Battle Art Chain and what it is in this guide!
You need a nearby allied character to do a Battle Art Chain. If done correctly, that officer will follow-up your Art with one of their own.
The indicator only appears after you have drawn your ally's attention. This is done by fighting well, doing parries and evading enemy attacks. The blue line will show after you've done enough of these maneuvers in combat.
Additionally, your own Battle Arts will glow blue, and blue hexagons will also appear over the head of an ally who is ready to perform a Battle Art Chain.
The blue line—indicating that a Battle Art Chain is possible—will appear after successful attempts at parries and evades, and after unleashing assaults and Musou attacks when near an ally officer or a Companion.
Note that the blue line is not guaranteed to appear. It is advised to continue attempting and performing these activities to trigger a Battle Art Chain.
Other non-Companion ally officers can also perform a Battle Art Chain. The requirements for them to do so are the same as a Companion Officer's, so stick close to them and perform well in battle!
A Battle Art Chain is a combo attack between Wanderer and an ally officer where Battle Arts is triggered in succession. After Wanderer performs a Battle Art with the chain link indicator present, the nearby ally officer will follow up with a Battle Art of their own to attack the enemy.
