The Twin Pikes, as long as the franchise has been around, had alway been synonymous with 'continuous attacks', and that mechanic perseveres here. Repeatedly tapping the Heavy attack input after a normal attack or from a guard allows you to attack indefinitely.
A new quirk with the Twin Pikes is how you can significantly boost the next attack by correctly timing your input. Fortunately, you can gauge the timing by watching the glowing white ring that appears on the Wanderer just before a boostable attack.
| Input | Description |
|---|---|
| [Combo] Run while swinging your twin pikes. |
This move has high levels of utility as it not only keeps you highly mobile, but it also generates plenty of Musuo to fuel the arts guage.
| Input | Description |
|---|---|
| [Combo] Perforrm a spin attack while dragging in enemies. |
This attack is a good default for when you need to clear an immediate area around the Wanderer. Likewise, it's a quick fodder-clear move that also decently pressures enemy officer Fortitude.
| Arts | Bravery Req. | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | Jump upwards while sweeping surrounding enemies.
Sp. Effect: Able to stop certain attacks and stagger the enemy. |
|
| 1 | Pivot from a dodge into an attack with your twin pikes. Can be used to quickly close in on an enemy. | |
| 4 | Concentrate your Bravery to strengthen yourself, increasing the strength and speed of strong attacks for a set amount of time. | |
| 3 | Perform a wide slashing attack with your twin pikes. Sends surrounding enemies flying. | |
| 4 | Pierce the earth with your twin pikes, infusing it with your Bravery to cause an explosion. The ground will swell upward and prevent enemy movement. | |
| 3 | Perform multiple thrusts with your pikes. Holding the button increases the number of thrusts, while a well-timed button press at the end increases the strength of the attack. | |
| 4 | Swing your twin pikes to generate a tornado that engulfs all in its path. At the end, it sends everything it has engulfed flying. | |
| 2 | Charge at high speed and slam into enemies. Holding the button increases the number of charges, while a well-timed button press at the end increases the strength of the attack. | |
| 8 | Jump up and fling your pikes, sending enemies within a large area flying on impact. A well-timed button press at the end increases the strength of the attack. | |
| 3 | Charge forward while spinning. When performed in midair, you will rush toward the ground. |
