Lanayru Temple Location

At the Top of Stilled Holy Mount Lanayru

Lanayru Temple is located at the top of Stilled Holy Mount Lanayru. The rift that leads to the area unlocks as you progress through the main quest, Rift on Holy Mount Lanayru. You'll have to jump across the clouds from Stilled Hebra Mountain to reach the dungeon.

Enter the Rift on Holy Mount Lanayru
Entering the Rift on Holy Mount Lanayru takes you to Stilled Hebra Mountain. The rift unlocks as you progress through the main quest.

Reach Stilled Holy Mount Lanayru
From the entrance, head to the northeastern part of the area jumping through the clouds to find a ladder leading down into a cavern section. Get through the section to reach Stilled Holy Mount Lanayru.

Reach the Top of Holy Mount Lanayru
Get through the area and reach the top by jumping on the clouds and scaling cliffsides with your echoes. You'll find the entrance to Lanayru Temple at the very top of the area.

Obtain the Dungeon Map and Small Key

# Step by Step Objectives

Unlock the Lanayru Temple Waypoint
After the short conversation with Tri when you enter the temple, be sure to activate the dungeon waypoint right at the start.

Defeat Enemies in the Left Room
From the entrance, head up then left to enter a room where you can find some ice octopi and blocks of ice. Defeat them to earn a chest that gives you five portions of rock salt.

Head to the Room on the Right
Head back to the central room and enter the room to the right. Here you'll find an empty pedestal and a flame sigil on the far corner of the room. Both of these are related to the mechanism found in the central room.

Grab the Flame Sigil in the Right Room
Grab the flame sigil and use the Flying Tile echo to bring the sigil back to the pedestal on the left side of the room. This will trigger the mechanism in the central room and unveil a ladder leading to the floor below.

Climb Down the Ladder to B1
Get through the cavern section when you climb down the ladder in the central room to reach floor B1. You can use the Strandtula echo to reach the chest in the cavern section that gives three monster fangs.

Reach the Next Room
Get past the streams of ice to reach the room with the fan mechanism. Use echoes to block the streams and get through the area safely.

Enter the Room in the Top Left
In the room with the fan mechanism, enter the top left room to find another flame sigil behind iron bars. Block the stream of ice with an echo and bring the flame sigil to the pedestal on the left to trigger the fan mechanism.

Grab the Key in the Water
Activating the fan with the flame sigil melts the frozen water surface allowing you to dive underwater. Head back to the room with the fan and grab the key underwater.

Freeze the Water Again Using the Fan
After grabbing the key, head back to the room with the flame sigil. This time, grab the flame sigil and let it pass through the stream of ice to turn it into a frost sigil. Deliver it to the pedestal to freeze the water again in the main room.

Reach the Top Right Door
Use the rocks in the main room as platforms to reach the door in the top right. The two stacked rocks can be used to block the streams with an extra echo on top. The single rock can be used as a stepping stone to reach the upper level.

Enter the Door to Reach B2
The door opens to a ladder leading down to floor B2. Head down the ladder and get through the cavern section, use the falling ice stalactites to block the streams of ice while wall climbing.

Use the Flying Tile to Get Through
Floor B2 starts with separate platforms along with streams of ice coming out the walls. Use the Flying Tile echo to move between platforms and reach the far end of the room.

You can also use the Cloud echo to reach the top of the room to find a secret path that leads to a chest containing a golden egg.

Find the Ladder Beneath the Ice Blocks
After getting through the platforms, you'll reach the main room of floor B2 with another fan mechanism and a wall of ice splitting the room. Push the block of ice in the first row of the second column to reveal a ladder going down.

Climb Down and Grab the Flame Sigil
Climb down the ladder under the ice block to find a cavern section with an empty pedestal for the fan and a flame sigil at the bottom.

Grab the flame sigil at the bottom and navigate your way to the top by using echoes on the left platform to avoid the unending streams and reach the pedestal. You can also learn the Freeze Slug echo here by defeating the enemy.

Head to the Room on the Right
Activating the fan mechanism melts the wall of ice in the main room allowing you to reach the room on the right.

Enter the room and use echoes to activate both pressure plates at the same time and reveal a chest containing a small key.

Unlock the Door to the Left
Use the small key to unlock the door on the left side of main room which leads into a room full of rock monsters and streams of ice.

Defeat All the Rock Monsters
Defeat all the rock monsters in the room using the Wizzrobe echoes to reveal a chest containing the dungeon map.

Defeat Green Slug Miniboss

# Step by Step Objectives

Activate Lanayru Temple B2 Waypoint
In the room after obtaining the dungeon map, you'll find another waypoint in the top right corner of the room. Activate the waypoint and prepare for a boss battle in the following room.

Defeat Green Slug Boss
As you enter the next room, you'll find a large Green Slug waiting for you in the green water. Defeat him to continue, the boss will split into smaller versions as you continue hitting him. Use the Ice Wizzrobe echo to freeze him and launch a barrage of sword attacks with Swordfighter Form.

Continue Deeper Into the Dungeon
Defeating the Green Slug will unlock the door behind the boss with a ladder allowing you to continue deeper into the dungeon.

Obtain the Big Key

# Step by Step Objectives

Light Up All the Torches
In the room after clearing the boss, you will have to light up all the torches to continue on. Use the Ignizol echo to light up all the torches and melt the ice blocking the way.

You can also use the Strandtula echo to get the chest containing 100 rupees in the top right corner.

Find a Way to Activate the Fans
Once you get through the torch room, you'll find yourself in B3 with some stairs that lead to B4. You'll also find a lot more fan mechanisms in this floor that you need to activate.

Find the Flame Sigil
From the first room, head three rooms down, one room right, and one room up to find the flame sigil. Grab the flame sigil and deliver it to the pedestal at the end of the ice path in the same room.

Beware of enemies in the way, you'll also be able to find a chest containing three twisted pumpkins.

Swim to the Other Side for a Chest
In the room before the flame sigil room, the ice will be melted due to the fans. Swim to the left to reach the other side to find a chest containing a monster stone. You'll also find the Tektite Lv. 2 echo here.

Activate Pressure Plate in the Water
Head back to the room on the left from the previous room to find the ice also melted. You'll find a pressure plate underwater which you'll need to activate using the object in the water. This will open the room to the left.

Find a Frost Sigil
From the previous room, head two rooms to the left to find another frost sigil behind iron bars. Block the two hot streams using echoes and grab the frost sigil to bring to the pedestal to the left. This will activate the fans and freeze the water in the room to the right.

Activate the Pressure Plates Together
Head back to the room on the right and activate both pressure plates at the same time to open the door going up. You can use Echoes to activate the pressure plates simultaneously.

Defeat the White Wolfos Miniboss
Head through the unlocked door and you'll encounter the White Wolfos along with some mini wolves that you'll have to fight. Use the Fire Wizzrobe echo to easily defeat the enemies.

You'll obtain the White Wolfos echo and unlock the door behind the wolves afterwards.

Grab the Flame Sigil and Activate Fans
In the room after the wolves, you'll find another flame sigil with its pedestal at the bottom right corner of the room.

Before you grab the sigil, defeat all the enemies and block all the streams of ice in the room using the ice blocks, you can then safely deliver the sigil to the pedestal.

Activate the Fans Below the Main Room
The fans will melt the ice wall splitting the room below the main room. Head right and unlock the door back to the main room using the button and head to the room down from here.

Light up the torch and transform the frost sigil into a flame sigil and place it on the pedestal to activate the fans.

Activate the Fans Again Using Frost
After melting the ice stalagmites blocking the way of the snowball, activate the fans again but this time using a frost sigil to freeze the water in the main room. You can now press the button in the main room to bring down the snowball and press the big button.

Obtain the Big Key from the Chest
Open the big chest in the main room to obtain the big key. This can be used to open the big door down in floor B4. You may also use some echoes to reach a hidden path just above the door leading down to B4 to find 50 rupees.

Defeat Skorchill, the Dungeon Boss

Activate Lanayru Temple B4 Waypoint
In the room just before the final boss, activate the waypoint and soak in the hot spring to restore your hearts to the full. Prepare to fight the final boss for the dungeon when you enter the big door.

Defeat Skorchill, the Dungeon Boss
Skorchill is the final boss of the dungeon and will alternate between two helmets of ice and fire. Use both the Fire and Ice Wizzrobe against Skorchill opposite to the helmet he is currently wearing to defeat him. Avoid attacking him while his helmet is active.

Complete the Dungeon
Defeating Skorchill will clear the dungeon and also complete the Lands of the Goddesses main quest. Skorchill will also drop a Heart Container for you to grab.

Lanayru Temple Minibosses

Green Slug

Green Slug
The Green Slug miniboss is located at the end of floor B2 and guards the door that leads deeper into the dungeon.

Use Ice Wizzrobe to Freeze the Slug

Use Ice Wizzrobe to Freeze the Slug
Make use of the Ice Wizzrobe echo to freeze the slug allowing you to freely launch a barrage of sword attacks on the boss.

Be Careful with Smaller Slugs

Be Careful with Smaller Slugs
The boss will split into smaller slugs when beating the bigger ones, be careful with your positioning once they split up.

White Wolfos

White Wolfos
The White Wolfos miniboss can be found in floor B3 along with two mini wolves together with him, you will have to fight him to clear the floor.

Use Fire Wizzrobe to Easily Beat the Boss

Fire Wizzrobe echo will be able to deal a lot of damage and defeat the wolves easily. Make sure to dodge and also attack when you can.

Bind the White Wolvos to Hold Him

Hold the White Wolvos with bind to allow your Fire Wizzrobe to freely attack him with a lot of attacks. Beware of the mini wolves while binding the big wolf if they are still active.

Avoid Hitting the Boss While Invulnerable

While Skorchill's helmet is active, he will be invulnerable to damage and will continue slamming the ground in front of him. Avoid getting close and trying to hit the boss while you see his helmet active, wait for your echo to break the helmet.

Use Fire and Ice Wizzrobe to Break the Helmet

Use Fire and Ice Wizzrobe to Break the Helmet

Skorchill alternates between two helmets of fire and ice. Use the Fire Wizzrobe echo to break the fire helmet and the Ice Wizzrobe to break the ice helmet. Breaking the helmet will allow you to deal damage to Skorchill.

Use Swordfighter Form after Helmet Breaks to Deal Damage

Use Swordfighter Form after Helmet Breaks to Deal Damage

Everytime the helmet breaks, deal as much damage as you can to Skorchill. This can be done ideally with Swordfighter Form to easily defeat the boss.
