Actions Utilizing Lock On |

|
Throwable objects such as rocks and pots can be aimed at a target via the ZL button. Lock on an enemy before throwing an object to aim at their direction.
When multiple entities are present, pressing ZL to lock on an object/mob also selects them as the bind target. Press the X button when locked on to bind onto the selected target.
Locking onto an enemy commands all present Echoes to attack the target. Effectively skirmish enemies by summoning multiple Mob Echoes and focus their attacks on a single enemy.
Lock on allows selection of a target when using actions such as throw and bind, as well set a target for Mob Echoes. Lock on reduces the hassle of selecting a target in chaotic situations and allow administering of commands to Echoes with independent actions.
Past top-down Zelda titles such as Link's Awakening had projectiles like Sword Beam without a Lock On, creating a larger margin of error for missing . Echoes of Wisdom addresses this issue, being the first Zelda title to have a Lock On Feature!
