Runaway Horse is a Side Quest that can be started in Hyrule Ranch in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (EoW). Learn more about how to unlock the Runaway Horse side quest, as well as its walkthrough, the horse location, and rewards.

Go to Hyrule Ranch in Hyrule Field, then talk to the old man on the left side of the ranch.
The Runaway Horse quest should be immediately available after completing the first dungeon and the Mysterious Rifts main quest.

| 1 |  After talking to the old man, head directly west to a small pool with an island in the middle. The horse should be on this island. |
| 2 |  Use an old bed Echo to create a bridge between the island and the mainland. |
| 3 |  Ride the horse back towards the old man at Hyrule Ranch. |
Upon completing the Runaway Horse side quest, you can now rent a horse from the ranch and ride it throughout Hyrule. To rent a horse, you simply have to get on your preferred one then ride off with it.
