Slime Eye is a miniboss that can first be fought at Lanayru Temple during the main story in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (EoW). Read on to learn more on how to beat Slime Eye, as well as its weaknesses, location, and rewards from beating Slime Eye in the game.

Freeze It First with Ice Echoes
 Ice Wizzrobe

Slime Eye can't be damaged in its normal state, even with the Swordfighter Form. You must freeze it solid first with Echoes like Ice Wizzrobe before unleashing your attack Echoes and the Swordfighter Form to damage Slime Eye.
Focus on the Smaller Slime Eyes
Dealing enough damage to Slime Eye while it's frozen will make it split into two smaller Slime Eyes. These smaller versions are more mobile but will have the same ice weakness.
Try focusing on the smaller Slime Eyes first as having more of them in the room can make it difficult for you and your Echoes to move around due to their aggressiveness.
Watch Out for Falling Rocks
The bigger Slime Eyes (the original and the first splits) can use slam attacks that will cause rocks to randomly fall down from the ceiling. Whenever a Slime Eyes does this attack, keep an eye on the shadows on the floor to know where the rocks will fall on!
