Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (EoW)

How to Increase Tri's Power Level and Get More Triangles

Zelda EoW How to Increase Tri

You'll need to draw Triangles from Tri's Power to summon Echoes, which can be increased by clearing rifts in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (EoW). Learn how to get more Triangles for summoning and increase Tri's Power in this guide!

How to Increase Tri's Power

Clear Rifts

Clear Rifts
Tri will start at Lv1 with three Triangles, which can barely overwhelm an enemy or maintain several object Echoes at once. Tri can increase their power level and the max number of Triangles by clearing rifts.

Select Rifts are Locked Behind Side Quests

Stilled Carrot Patch
Some Rifts can only be accessed after starting specific side quests. When Tri's level has stagnated due to the lack of Rifts, comb the map for side quests and start clearing them to discover otherwise hidden Rifts.

The most notable side quests that have their own respective Rifts are the Impa's Gift and From the Heart quests, initiated by speaking to the NPCs Impa in Hyrule Castle and Romi in Hyrule Castle Town respectively.

What is the Max Tri's Power?

6 Triangles at Level 9

The maximum amount of power available is 6, which is achieved upon reaching Level 9 with Tri. Clearing readily available Rifts can easily attain the level for maximum power.

What is Tri's Power?

Used to Summon Echoes

Echo costs

Each Echo requires a specific number of Triangles, or Tri's Power, to summon. The Triangle cost of Echoes, which can be seen at the top right corner of your screen or when choosing an Echo to equip, is based on their effects or how powerful they are.

Reaching specific levels increases Tri's Power limit, allowing you to summon more powerful Echoes or a bigger group of them.

Some Side Quests generate rifts! Try to check if you've done the From the Heart Side Quest in Hyrule Castle Town. It's one of the commonly missed side quests that generate rifts!
