Enter From the Eastern Border

Eternal Forest Directions
Fast travel to the waypoint west of Hyrule Castle and head east.

Follow the path near the West Hyrule Castle Entrance and continue heading north upon reaching a fork. Stay near the forest and enter when a clearing appears.

Directions to Get Past the Fog Waypoint
Activate the waypoint to the entrance of Eternal Forest.

Travel Waypoint Locations: How to Fast Travel

Entering From the Fog Sends Zelda Back

Attempting to enter the Eternal Forest from the fog resets Zelda's location. Be wary of the forest's border to avoid this occurrence.

This does not have any adverse affects other than displacing Zelda in the map.
