The rift leading to the Stilled Western Eldin Volcano can be found on the west side of Eldin Volcano Trail. You can access this area by following The Rift on Eldin Volcano main quest.
The entrance to the stilled area is located on the south side of the rift. From Goron City, head west and after crossing the bridge, glide down the cliff to the south to find the entrance.

| 1 |  In Stilled Western Eldin Volcano Rift, you will need to save 5 groups of Tri's friends. One of which is located in the middle of the map, the second being in the western edge of the map, and the last three being on the north where you have to get them in a side-scrolling section of the rift. |

 Go east and use a Keese echo to cross the chasm with the help of the air vents. You might want to take out the Ghirro enemy first before proceeding. |

 Now, head west through the new set of isles above you until you find the first group of Tri's friends, just past the Spear Moblin enemy. |

 Summon a ranged enemy, preferably a type of Wizzrobe, to lure the enemy Wizzrobe across. While your Wizzrobe is drawing the aggro, glide through the air vent and into the lava isle. |

 The second group is on the northwest side of this area, which can also be accessed via air vents. |
| 6 |
 Hop to another isle northeast and go down the ladder at its top. Walk to the right and block the first air vent below with a Boulder echo. |

 Jump down and defeat the glowing Spear Moblin enemy on the left to free the third group. |
| 8 |
 Go all the way down to the bottom of the room and jump onto the three air vents where the fourth group is. While hovering on either left or right air vent, drop a Boulder echo in the middle to block the air so you can grab Tri's friends. |

 Take another Keese with you and ride the rightmost air vent up to reach the fifth group and repair the rift! You will also receive two Might Crystals for your help. |
