Manually Save From the Menu

To manually save, pause the game by Pressing +, then head to the System settings. from there, you can select Save to manually save your progress, regardless of where you are in your gameplay.

You Can Only Have One Manual Save

You can only have one instance of Manual Saves per file, which means that every time you try to manually save, it will overwrite your previous manual save.

The autosave feature, unlike the manual save, holds up to 5 of your most recent autosave instances. The autosave triggers automatically when you trigger or do something, such as learning echoes, unlocking waypoints, and finishing certain dialogues,

There Are Two Save Data Slots

From the title screen, you can have up to 2 save files having different playthroughs.

You can use the 2nd save file to do a challenge playthrough, or if you want to try out Hero Mode without losing the progress of your regular playthrough!
