Moa Echo Location and How to Get

The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom (EoW) - Moa

The Moa Echo is one of the many Echoes that can be learned and summoned in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (EoW). Learn how to use the Moa Echo, where to get it, how to beat it, as well as its triangle cost information!

Moa Echo Location

Obtained in Hebra Mountain

Moa Echo Location

A floating eye enemy found outside Hebra Mountain on the way to the top.

How to Beat Moa

Summon A Floating Echo

Select Fire Wizzrobe

Moa is a floating enemy, allowing it to hover over holes and mountain cliffs.

To counter this, summon a floating Echo like the Fire Wizzrobe, which can effectively engage Moa from a safe distance.

Best Echoes for Combat and Exploration

Stay Away From Cliffs

It's unwise to fight Moa while standing on a cliff, as a single shot from it can knock you back, potentially causing you to fall off.

Stay on solid ground to maintain your advantage in the fight.

Use Keese to Attack Moa

Moa can be very hard to defeat as it always moves around whenever you hit it and will disappear. An effective method to deal with them is summon a Keese, preferably an Ice Keese to freeze it temporarily. Use your bow on Swordfighter Form and shoot the Moa to defeat it.

Use Bio Deku Baba to Attack Moa

One of our commenters had a great suggestion of using a Deku Baba to defeat the Moa! From our testing, a Deku Baba isn't quite big enough to swallow the Moa whole, but the Bio Deku Baba should be able to chomp down on the Moa with no problems!

That's a great suggestion! From our testing it looks like the Deku Baba itself wasn't large enough to swallow the Moa, but a Bio Deku Baba does the job well!

Just use a Deku Baba. It's the easiest way
