How to Beat Mogryph |
---|
|
Mogryph must be staggered first before you can deal some damage. When the boss starts digging through the sand, get behind a Statue or summon any of the Statue Echoes (i.e. Hawk, Cat, and Snake) to cause it to collide.
Once the boss is vulnerable, switch to Swordfighter Form and unleash a barrage of attacks.
Gerudo Sandals | |
---|---|
Effect | Quicksand-Proof |
Traditional desert sandals. They prevent the wearer from sinking in quicksand. |
After dealing enough damage to Mogryph, the stage will change, turning some of the ground into quicksand. If Zelda stays on the quicksand for too long, she will move slower and start sinking.
Equip the Gerudo Sandals accessory to prevent yourself from sinking in quicksand.
Mogryph grows wings during Phase 2 and begins attacking from above. Place a Statue Echo just before the boss lands to counter the attack.
Follow Mogryph’s shadow during drop attacks, and use Bind to the Statues for more precise placement.
If you're having trouble timing Statue placements, wait for Mogryph to start digging. When the boss emerges from the sand, summon any mob Echoes to distract it, and then use Bind to pull it out.
One of Mogryph's attacks is unleashing sand waves across the ground. Use Statues to block the oncoming waves and protect yourself.
Mogryph moves very quickly, so it's best to Spin as much as you can to dodge any of its attacks.
