Chests can be opened either by defeating enemies, or solving puzzles before interacting with it in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (EoW). Read on to learn how to open chests and more in this guide!

Locked Chests, commonly found in the overworld can only be opened after defeating all enemies in the vicinity.
This mechanic is similar to how chests are opened in other titles like Breath of the Wild, where you need to defeat all the monsters within the camp before unlocking the chest.
Normal Chests, commonly seen with a gold and red color can be opened just by interacting with it.
These chests are commonly found inside caves and dungeons, and the only deterrent is that you usually need to solve a puzzle to reach the Chest.
Buried Chests simply put, are normal chests lodged into the ground. These chests can be pulled from the ground using Bind, after which, you can open them as you would a normal chest.
