The rift leading to Stilled Goron City can be found inside Goron City at Eldin Volcano. Climb up Eldin Volcano until you meet a Goron who needs help. He'll then enter a large building that houses Goron City and show you the rift entrance.
Going through Stilled Goron City is required for The Rift on Eldin Volcano main quest.

| Locations of Tri's Friends | |

| 1 |  Enter the large Goron statue above you. Defeat the nearby Zirro to collect its Echo, which will be useful for the next step. |
| 2 |  Summon expolosive Echoes, such as the Bombfish or your newly obtained Zirro, to break through the blocks until you reach the first of Tri's friends at the bottom. |
| 3 | From your starting point, head left and jump over the rocks to reach the platform where the second Blob containing Tri’s friends is located. Defeat the enemy before rescuing Tri’s friends. |
| 4 | Climb up the walls up to the high platform on the upper right and collect the third Blob of Tri's friends. Use the rock climbing walls and a Flying Echo tile to get to the top. You can also use echoes that provide verticality like the Platboom. |
| 5 | From the high platform, jump off to the platform down on the right to reach the final Blob containing Tri's friends on a circular stone table. |
