How to Complete | ||
---|---|---|
1 | ||
Starting from Hyrule Castle Town, head west past Hyrule Ranch and follow the road that leads to the northwest corner of the map until you reach Kakariko Village. | ||
2 | ||
Go up Eldin Volcano Trail, located north of Kakariko Village. Head west through the Mini-Moldorm field and enter the cave at the end. | ||
3 | ||
Pass through the cave full of Beetles and a chest containing 5 Rocktatoes. The cave is linear and you may also just ignore the beetles to get through if you can. The chest is found just before the cave exit. | ||
4 | ||
After exiting the cave, climb the walls on the left cliffside and make for the platform on the other end, where you will spot a group of Lizalfos. | ||
5 | ||
Defeat the Lizalfos to unlock the chest in the area that contains 3 Might Crystals. You should also activate the waypoint just up the slope above after opening the chest. | ||
6 | ||
Head north from the waypoint and climb the wall. Climb the second wall and use a Flying Tile echo to reach a platform on the left side with a Heart Piece. | ||
7 | ||
Climb the wall north of the waypoint again but this time, don't climb the second wall. Look east and you'll find volcanic geysers coming from the cliff walls. Continue going east while making your way around the geysers. You may use the Flying Tile echo for this part as well to cross the gap without having to deal with the geysers. |
||
8 | ||
At the very end of the path east, you'll find a cave with boulders falling right before the entrance. Dodge the boulders and head inside the cave. | ||
9 | ||
As soon as you enter the cave, you will spot a Ghirro to the right, defeat it to obtain the echo. This is a good alternative to Keeses for gliding as it can also propel you forward when it blows air. | ||
10 | ||
Summon an echo of the Ghirro and lift it up. Get on the geyser as the Ghirro blows air to propel yourself up and forward to the next platform. You should also head up another platform using the Ghirro and another geyser to reach a chest containing a monster stone high up on a cliff to the north. |
||
11 | ||
Head back to the previous platform and continue east. Use the Ghirro echo to blow the torches out so you can safely pass through by climbing the walls. Exit through the doorway at the east end. | ||
12 | ||
After exiting the cave, climb the wall to your right and reach the top. Head east after reaching the top to find a waypoint you can activate next to a set of stairs. | ||
13 | ||
Head up the stairs and approach the Goron in front of the large building to trigger a cutscene. | ||
14 | ||
Follow the Goron inside Goron City to find the rift entrance containing the Goron residents. The Goron will ask for your help in mending the rift. |
How to Complete | |
---|---|
1 |
Interact with the rift to let Tri open up an entrance. Jump into the rift when you're ready. |
2 |
You will need to rescue Tri's friends trapped in four areas of this rift. ▶︎ Stilled Goron City Rift Walkthrough |
3 |
After mending the rift, talk to Darston outside. He'll ask you to check Rock-Roast Quarry and Lizalfos Burrow for the missing Gorons. ▶︎ Rock-Roast Quarry Guide ▶︎ Lizalfos Burrow Guide |

---|---|---|
From Goron City, head west until you cross a bridge. Keep heading north from here and you will find a waypoint outside a quarry. Activate the waypoint outside the quarry before going inside. Make sure to learn the Lava Rock echo if you don't have it yet. You'll need it for the later parts of the quest. |
||
2 | ||
Enter the quarry and get some rock roast for Elder Gol and friends. ▶︎ Rock-Roast Quarry Walkthrough |
How to Complete | ||
---|---|---|
1 | ||
Lizalfos Burrow can be found north of Goron City. If you're coming from Rock-Roast Quarry, head east until you come across a ledge with a Heart Piece on top. Use an echo like the Crawltula to climb up, get the Heart Piece, then jump to the waypoint on the right. | ||
You may head east from Goron City and make your way to Lizalfos Burrow from there. Follow the path with the ramps that lead to the north of Goron City. | ||
2 | ||
Activate the waypoint just outside Lizalfos Burrow for fast travelling. The burrow is the building surrounded by the lava pools. | ||
3 | ||
Find Elder Silv by the entrance inside the burrow to start the quest. Complete the Lizalfos Burrow quest to progress the main quest. ▶︎ Lizalfos Burrow Walkthrough |
How to Complete | |
---|---|
1 |
Warp back to the Goron City waypoint, and head inside. Elders Gol and Silv still don't remember where the shortcut to the volcano crater is, but they remember Darston's father talking about blocking a path in his room. |
2 |
Follow Darston into the chief's room where a large stone portrait of his father is hung on the wall. Use Bind to pull the screw on the right side of the portrait and reveal the hidden path. |
How to Complete | |
---|---|
1 |
Enter the passageway. Cross the lava either by creating a Keese Echo, holding it with the A button, and walking over the ledge to glide, or riding a Flying Tile Echo. |
2 |
In the next room, grab a Keese Echo to glide from one platform to another while using the air currents to gain elevation. Land on the larger platform next to a lava waterfall up north. |
3 |
Create a Lava Rock bridge to reach the platform north then jump over the Lava Rock to your left. Walk over to the rising pillar of lava and place another Lava Rock over it so you can reach the top. Head to the next room afterwards. |
4 |
In the sidescrolling section, create lava rock Echoes to use as platforms. Use Bind to move around the natural lava rocks in the environment to help you get through the longer lava section. There is a chest containing 50 Rupees at the leftmost part of this room. |
5 |
Place a lava rock on the highest lava pillar in this sidescrolling area, then ride it all the way up to the top. Climb the ladder into the next room. |
6 |
After crossing the bridge, you'll enter a cutscene where Darston will break the boulder blocking the way. Once the way is open, proceed to enter the area containing the rift entrance. |
How to Complete | |
---|---|
1 |
Activate the waypoint and have Tri open up the rift entrance by interacting with it. Go through the Stilled Eldin Volcano area until you reach the dungeon at the end. ▶︎ Stilled Eldin Volcano Rift Walkthrough |
2 |
Go through the Eldin Temple dungeon in order to get Din's Sanction. ▶︎ Eldin Temple Dungeon Walkthrough |
3 |
After completing the dungeon, return to Goron City. Once the cutscene ends, you'll complete this main quest. |
