Gold City will be released on October 7, 2025, and will be on rate-up until October 16, 2025. She is a Late Surger that can also be run as a Pace Chaser. However, her access to On Your Left!, as well as the activation requirements for her Unique Skill, make her better as a Late Surger.
Additionally, although she has an A Aptitude for Mile races, players must instead train her with Medium and Long races in mind, as most of her races in her career are of those lengths.

Although Gold City is a decent Late Surger, she comes out in the same month as Maruzensky (Summer), who remains a strong Umamusume for quite a while.
As such, there is no need to try and get Gold City as you will want to save your Carats for Maruzensky (Summer). However, you can still roll for her if you like her as a character.
