Course Notes
・Late-race starts on a straight. Straightaway Spurt will be the acceleration of choice for End Closers. Front Runners will want to run Kitasan Black's unique, Victory Cheer!.
・The first late-race corner starts a bit late. This means skills like Angling and Scheming and Let's Pump Some Iron are not as effective. Do not learn final corner accelerations like Red Shift or Shooting for Victory.
2 Downhills and 2 Uphills mean investment in Wit and Power should help. None are particularly good for acceleration, but recoveries (Restless and Go-Home Specialist) could be used.
・Heavy conditions will require more Stamina and Power stats.

ⓘ Silence Suzuka can be trained as a Runaway 'rabbit' with max Wit in Unity Cup to assist in increasing the pace of Front Runners and making it difficult for End Closers to catch up. She is expected to be used in this CM to help Kitasan Black, whose unique skill Victory Cheer! can activate in 2nd place.
*Each starting aptitude for trainees can only be improved up to 4 grades (using up to 10★ sparks of the same aptitude). Aptitude increases beyond that require inspiration events in career.

Kitasan Black Makes Fronts Viable

With the release of Kitasan Black, Front Runners can make use of her unique as an acceleration skill to help them stay competitive. Kitasan Black herself will likely be one of the best runners for this Champions Meeting but will be a bit harder to train due to lacking innate gold recovery skills.

End Closers Still Strong

As a Long race, End Closers will likely prove to be dominant again due to access to strong acceleration in Straightaway Spurt/Encroaching Shadow. Among them, Narita Taishin and Tamamo Cross are expected to be some of the best aces here. If you don't have access to these characters, you can turn to Gold Ship and Mayano Top Gun as your aces. Mayano is noteworthy for having both a rare recovery and No Stopping Me in her kit.

Christmas Oguri Cap is Competitive

Christmas Oguri Cap has an incredible unique skill that provides Speed, Acceleration, and Recovery all at once, making her a strong pick for this race since she's unlikely to run out of stamina. However, her biggest drawback here is she doesn't have a way to consistently activate her unique at a good spot. Still, she can perform well as long as she only uses mid-race recoveries.

Consider Trainees with Recovery Skills

Due to the steep stamina requirements of the race, Umamusume with a unique that also recovers endurance should be viable and help make training easier. Some of these trainees include Agnes Tachyon, Super Creek, and Summer Special Week.

Having an innate gold recovery skill is also an advantage since it should help make the support card selection less restrictive.

Pisces Cup Stat Guidelines

Any S
Prio: ★
Blue Sparks Init. Stats 9★ STA, 9★ PWR

ⓘ Prioritize maximizing stats in this order: Stamina Stamina > Speed Speed > Power Power > Wit Wit > Guts Guts.
┗ Make sure you can at least reach the baselines for Stamina and Guts to avoid losing speed before reaching the end of the race.

The Pisces Cup is a very long race measuring at 3,200m. To make sure your aces can survive and maximize their performance at the end, you'll ideally want around 1100 Stamina with 2 Gold Recoveries to be safe. If you can't hit this goal, it should be possible to win with at least 1000 Stamina, but with the risk of not being at their best during the late-race.

Aim for as much Wit as you can as well, especially for the Front Runners so they can maintain good positions and reliably activate skills throughout the race.

Best to Train in Trackblazer Scenario

Trackblazer Logo

The best scenario to train for the Pisces Cup is the Trackblazer scenario. Trackblazer will provide much higher stats and more skill points, making it the preferred way to train. While you can still train in the Unity Cup to save on time, the statlines and skill selection likely won't be able to keep up with aces trained in the new scenario.

Just keep in mind that skills obtained from secret events won't be available with the Trackblazer scenario.

Acceleration Skills

Front Runners will want to inherit Kitasan Black's unique skill to gain an acceleration skill for the race. Likewise, End Closers will want to learn Straightaway Spurt to increase their chances of victory. Other styles will have to rely on random late-race acceleration like Head-On or On Your Left, which isn't ideal. No Stopping Me! can be considered for a strong acceleration skill, but it is not easily obtainable in Trackblazer anymore, requiring use of the Yukino Bijin Wit SSR. It's a viable pick for a Wit card as long as you hit at least 50 Race Bonus for your deck.

Speed Skills

Mid-race velocity skills are also highly recommended for the Pisces Cup. If your deck can spare enough Race Bonus to fit in Kitasan Black SSR, get Professor of Curvature from it. End Closers can likewise try to fit in Daring Strike from the Admire Vega SSR if possible. Other white speed skills such as Corner and Straightaway skills, Ramp Up, Uma Stan, and Tail Held High should also be good picks in general.

Radiant Star

The Trackblazer scenario-specific skill, Radiant Star, is a possible option to learn since it provides speed, acceleration, and recovery all at once. However, it's expensive and activates randomly in the second half of the race. We only recommend taking it if you have spare skill points and are willing to gamble on this skill.

RNG (may activate too late):

Gold recovery skills are a must for the Pisces Cup, and most aces should learn at least 2 of them. Swinging Maestro from Super Creek SSR is a staple for all styles while you need to aim for a reliable recovery from the table above for the other. Cooldown and Breath of Fresh Air (BOFA) are both accessible recoveries available without relying on the gacha supports, but they may activate on the final straight where they end up less impactful. They're still decent options if you don't have other choices.

Christmas Oguri Cap Recoveries

Super Creek (Murmuring Stream) Pure Heart Icon Pure Heart (Pace)

Due to Christmas Oguri Cap's unique also acting as a recovery skill, she can either slightly reduce her Stamina requirement or learn just 1 Gold recovery. We recommend using 3 mid-race recoveries only since Triple 7s does not trigger at a good spot for this race. She can also gamble on Radiant Star as the 3rd recovery skill, but this isn't consistent.

Pisces Cup Red Skills

Red Skills

Stamina debuffs should be most effective at crippling opponents that didn't build for enough stamina in the race. Stamina Siphon is notable for being a rare skill available through Manhattan Cafe (My Solo Spun in Spiraling Runs) and providing some recovery.

Support Cards above have been categorized based on what role they can supplement in the Pisces Cup.

Above are our recommendations for Support Cards to build your Umamusume for the Pisces Cup Champions Meeting. These are chosen based on their skills and stats.

This time around, you can focus on maximizing Speed and Stamina while getting a good amount of Power and Wit.

Speed 3 Stamina 2 Wit 1

Aim to use maxed out Wit cards where possible. The decks below assume the supports have their maximum Race Bonus. Kitasan Black SSR can replace Speed cards that are only used for rare recovery skills if your trainee has another one.
Sample Deck Setups (Aces)
General Riko Kashimoto SSR can be replaced with a Stamina Card such as Manhattan Cafe SSR or Mejiro McQueen SSR.
Budget: Borrow Super Creek SSR to gain Swinging Maestro. Tosen Jordan SSR can be replaced with another Speed card if your trainee has a gold/unique recovery skill or if using Mejiro McQueen SSR for Cooldown. A Wit card may be replaced with a Stamina card or Riko SSR if you are having trouble hitting the required Stamina.
Front RunnerFront Groundwork Trigger Skills:
Right-Handed | Taking the Lead | Focus
Aim to inherit Groundwork from sparks. Riko SSR can be replaced with a Stamina card. For Kitasan Black, Mihono Bourbon Wit can be replaced with a higher Race Bonus Wit card, such as Nice Nature Wit.

Alternative with Professor of Curvature and Daring Strike

For the Pisces Cup support cards, aim for decks with at least 2 Speed Cards and ideally 2 Stamina Cards (one of which can be substituted with Riko Kashimoto SSR). Super Creek SSR will almost always be needed as it has Swinging Maestro and 10% Race Bonus at max level. The remaining cards are best filled with Wit cards, but you can replace them with another speed card or a high race bonus card.

Under the Trackblazer scenario, aim to get at least 50 Race Bonus to gain more stats and skill points from winning races. If this isn't possible, try to get as close as possible with high-level cards.

Nishino Flower support cards are a great choice for Parent decks as it provides 2 green Stamina skills (Hanshin Racecourse and Standard Distance), both of which can slightly lower the required Stamina. Kitasan Black is also a strong pick for training parents and aces since it gives several skill hints that are useful for Long races.

Try to aim for at least 600 of the stat you wish to pass down to get a chance for a 3-star spark. You can also replace the cards with lower rarity versions if you're only after the random skill hints.
