Hold the L Stick Left and Release When the Middle Lights Up

The Action Command for Shell Toss requires the player to hold the L Stick to the left and release it when the moving bar is at the middle. The red star will light up in the middle of the meter if your timing is right. The bar will go through the meter repeatedly, so there's no rush to get the timing immediately.

Press A After Hitting Enemy and Once Spinning Slows Down

The Stylish Move timing for Shell Toss requires the player to press the A button after hitting the enemy with the attack to perform a stylish spin move. A second stylish move can be done by pressing A once Koops slows down his first stylish spin move.
