Each resident provides a Resident Skill when placed inside a house or facility in Wishvale. These skills range from improving shops and facilities to boosting town-wide effects, making resident selection an important part of town building.

How to Invite Residents

Invite Certain NPCs Using Path Actions

Potential Resident

Approach an NPC and check their dialogue bubble. If a house icon appears, that character can potentially become a resident of Wishvale. Use a Path Action and select Inquire to learn their information.

Once their details are revealed, the Invite option will become available. Successfully inviting them adds the NPC to your list of residents, allowing you to relocate them to Wishvale.

Place a Resident

After inviting a resident, return to Wishvale and assign them to a house or facility.

Residents only activate their Resident Skill while placed inside a structure, so leaving them unassigned means their effects won’t apply.

Invite As Many As You Can

There is no hard limit on how many NPCs you can invite to Wishvale. If an NPC has the house icon and can be invited through Path Actions, you’re free to recruit them.

The number of buildings you can place in Wishvale depends on your platform. Once you hit that limit, additional residents will have nowhere to stay.

Residents without an assigned building cannot activate their Resident Skills, so planning your town layout is key if you want to maximize their resident skills with the facilities.
