You can capture monsters for the Monster Arena by finding and defeating listed targets in Octopath Traveler 0 (Octopath 0). Learn how to capture monsters, how to unlock and use the Monster Arena, as well as the trophy reward you get after building the Monster Arena!

How to Capture Monsters
Build the Monster Arena and Defeat Targets

| 1 |  Build the Monster Arena using 30 Quality Metal, 20 Quality Stone, and 1 Monster Trap. |
| * |  You may assign additional residents to the arena. Try to assign people whose Resident Skill is suited for the Monster Arena, such as Reime. |
| 2 |  Talk to Adrian the Promoter in the arena and select View Capture List. You will see a list of monsters and where they can be located. |
| 3 |  Find the monster and defeat it in order to capture it. It will appear in the overworld like an Elite Enemy. |
| 4 |  Return to the Monster Arena and talk to the Promoter. Select Fight a Match to see your recent capture. You may select it in order to fight it and gain rewards. |
How to Unlock the Monster Arena
Unlocked After Building the Museum
To unlock the Monster Arena, you will need to have the Museum in Wishvale. Your Town Level will also need to be at Level 6.
How to Use the Monster Arena
Defeat Captured Monsters for Rewards
Capturing and fighting monsters will yield you great rewards. These include Masteries, which you can equip to your characters to aid them in battle.
Capture the Man-Eating Flora for a Letter Fragment
Building the Monster Arena will unlock the Man-Eating Flora in the Path to Herminia's Manse. Once you defeat and capture it, you can obtain the Letter Fragment that it is guarding.
