Octopath Traveler 0 (Octopath 0) will have no Switch 2 Upgrade from Switch 1. Read on to learn more about the game differences between platforms and whether there is a switch 2 upgrade!
Is There a Switch 2 Upgrade Pack?
No Upgrade Pack Planned
There will be no upgrade packs for Octopath Traveler 0. This means that you will not be able to upgrade the Switch 1 version to the Switch 2 version.
It is best to make sure that you purchase the correct version that you intend to play.

Different Visual Specs and Building Limits

Octopath Traveler 0 will have different visual specs and town building placement limits depending on the platform. The Switch 2 is more powerful, and will therefore have better visual specs and a higher building limit.
Physical Availability
Octopath Traveler 0 has both digital and physical copies for the Switch 1 and Switch 2. However, the physical Switch 2 version will only have a key-card. This means that you will still need to download the game data, as it is not stored in the cartridge.
