How to Get Cat Whisker
Steal From Caits
Use Steal on a Cait in order to get a Cat Whisker. However, keep in mind that Caits are very evasive. It is likely that during your first few encounters, a Cait may escape before you defeat them.
You may use a Thief that has the Steal. Alternatively, you can also Entreat the Steal Mastery from the Brigand Boss in Cragspear.
Cait Farming Guide and Locations
Guaranteed Double Cat Whiskers Using Snatch and Aeber’s Artifice
With the Snatch Mastery equipped, every successful steal will reward two Cat Whiskers instead of one. This passive effect applies to all steal attempts.
For a guaranteed result, use the Protagonist’s ultimate technique, Aeber’s Artifice. This skill always succeeds, weakening the target and stealing an item at 100% success rate. When combined with Snatch, Aeber’s Artifice will reliably net two Cat Whiskers in a single use.
How to Use Cat Whisker
Build a Cait Statue

| Blue Cait Statue | Increase EXP gain |
| Silver Cait Statue | Moderately increase EXP gain |
| Gold Cait Statue | Greatly increase EXP gain |
Cait Whiskers are needed to build Cait Statues. Having a Cait Statue in your town will increase the amount of EXP and leaves you earn from battle.
You will need save data from Octopath Traveler 2 to obtain the Blue Cait Statue. The other statues will need Silver and Gold Ingots respectively.

Sell For 40,000 Leaves
Cat Whiskers are as expensive as they are rare, and selling one will net you an easy 40,000 Leaves. A reliable way of farming money!
