Unlock Condition Find him in Cragspear and defeat Dreige in Gray Grotto. Can be done during Master of All Ch. 2.

Talk to the Merchant Near the Statue

Therion Merchant
During Master of All Chapter 2, travel to Cragspear and speak with the merchant standing near the statue.

Purchase the Prince of Thieves Necklace

Prince of Thieves
Buy the Prince of Thieves necklace from the merchant. After you purchase it, Therion shows up and reveals that the necklace and the merchant’s story are part of a scam.

Follow Therion to Gray Grotto

Therion Gray Grotto
Therion asks you to follow him to Gray Grotto to track and take down the group behind the scam.

Defeat Dreige and Recruit Therion

Dreige Gray Grotto
Inside Gray Grotto, defeat Dreige and his lackeys. After the battle, return to the tavern in Cragspear and speak with Therion. Therion joins your party.

He used to be a lone wolf, but decided to travel with the Protagonist out of concern that their bleeding heart might get them into trouble some day. He usually munches on an apple when he is hungry, but in truth he'd much prefer to have an apple pie.
