Steal From Fire Enemies

Steal Ice Soulstone from Ice Wisps
You have the chance to get fire soulstones by stealing them from fire enemies. You will have the best luck with fire wisps, but you can also get it by stealing from the Sultravi elite enemy in Mt. Berecain.

In order to steal, you will need to have a Thief with the Steal Mastery like Therion, Heidne, or the Protagonist in your party.

Success Rate Increases When Enemy HP is Low

Steal From Meep
The lower an enemy's HP is, the higher the chances of a successful Steal. You can tell if an enemy's HP is low by either using the Analyze skill using a Scholar, or by checking if the enemy's name is highlighted in either yellow or red.

Therion in Gray Grotto

If you place Therion in the Wishvale, he will occasionally give you a soulstone. However, this occurs at random, and it is not guaranteed that you will get a fire soulstone right away. You will need to check back often to see if he's produced a fire soulstone.

Since Fire Soulstones never miss, they are an effective weapon against Caits, who have very high evasiveness.
