Both Snow Yaks can use Silencing Strike to inflict Silence on its target, preventing them from using spells.

If your affected party members rely on their skills for this fight, you can remove these debuff and heal your team at the same time using the protagonist's Aelfric's Favor. You can also use an Herb of Clamor if the Ultimate is not yet ready.

Break the Charging Snow Yak ASAP

Like most bosses and minibosses, these Snow Yaks also have a dangerous attack that they will use a turn to prepare for. When purple smoke appears on a Snow Yak, break its shields quickly with BP-primed normal attacks to interrupt the attack.
