Find Blue Chests In A Map
Once you’ve built the Church in Wishvale, you’ll also gain access to the Altar, which can be upgraded to display chest and elite enemy completion per zone directly on the world map.
This makes tracking remaining blue chests much easier, as you can quickly see which areas are fully cleared and which still have unopened chests or undefeated elites. This feature doesn’t mark exact chest locations, but it’s extremely useful for narrowing down where blue chests are still missing before revisiting a zone.
How to Open Blue Chests
Upgrade the Church in Wishvale to Level 3
You will need to construct a church in Wishvale, then upgrade it to level 3 in order to unlock blue chests. You will be able to build a church after progressing through Kindlers of the Flame Ch. 5.

You will unlock the church after completing Kindlers of the Flame Ch. 5. You will also need to recruit Laurana into your party, which is also a part of the questline.

How to Upgrade the Church
Collect 6 Radiant Cornerstones From Elite Enemies to Upgrade the Church
To get the church to level 3, you will need 6 Radiant Cornerstones which are dropped by elite enemies. You will need two to upgrade the church to level 2, then another four to upgrade to level 3.
