Chapter Unlock Bestower of Power Ch. 3
Unlock Condition Joins after helping him fight the Immoral Noble in Grandport. Can be done during Bestower of Power Ch. 3.
Location Grandport

Finish Chapter 3 (Bestower of Power)

Xerc Grandport Location

Xerc can be recruited after completing Chapter 3: Bestower of Power. Head to Grandport afterward, and you can find Xerc in one of the stalls in the market.

Try reaching at least Level 20 before recruiting Xerc, as there will be a fight ahead with enemies around that level.

Lend Xerc 10,000 Leaves

Xerc 10000 Loan

Talk to Xerc and he’ll ask you to lend him 10,000 Leaves. Make sure you have enough before speaking to him in the bazaar!

Defeat the Immoral Noble

Immoral Noble

After participating in the bidding, which Xerc will lose, head to the port and challenge the Immoral Noble. Defeat him and Xerc will join your party afterward!

A scholar who researches soulstones and is regarded as an eccentric by the people of Atlasdam. He recently got his hands on a gargantuan soulstone, and his talented assistant, Athessa, is attempting to gather funds so that he can study it. He has since developed a particular interest in the element of light and is looking for a particularly large soulstone of that type.
