Take Out the Thieves First
This boss fight will also have two Thieves alongside the boss. Compared to M'suhi, they're a lot weaker and easier to take down, so make sure to get rid of them first so that you can focus solely on the boss.
Remove Poison Immediately
One of the more annoying parts of this fight is that M'suhi can poison your party members. This can easily get out of hand if you don't remove it, so make sure to get rid of it as soon as possible with items or status-curing spells.
Use Provoke and Rehabilitate
A good strategy to prevent your party from being poisoned is using the combination of an Apothecary's Rehabilitate and a character who can Provoke. This way, all poison attempts will land on the redirected target, and they'll be immune to it thanks to Rehabilitate.
Bring Multiple Weapons and Spells
M'suhi can swap around his weaknesses mid-fight, so make sure that you bring multiple characters with a wide variety of weapons and spells. He will always have one of three weakness sets, so make sure to use a Scholar to see which weaknesses he currently has.
Also, as a note, you'll want to bring strong Bow, Staff, and Light characters since his first and third weakness sets have these three types.
Be Careful of Counterattacks
During the fight, M'sahi will apply buffs that cause him to counterattack the party when hit by certain damage types. Make sure to watch his statuses below his weaknesses and avoid any weapon or element that is displayed.
Breaking Shields Will Prevent Counterattacks
One thing to note is that breaking his shields will prevent the counterattack from going off. For example, if he is weak to Swords, but also counterattacks when hit by Swords, you can exploit his Sword weakness to break him, and you won't be counterattacked.
