Tressa is a Playable character in Octopath Traveler 0. See the guide below to learn more about Tressa's Job, how to recruit them, profile, and a list of the Skills they can learn.
| Chapter Unlock | Kindlers of the Flame Ch. 2 |
|---|---|
| Unlock Condition | Find her in Rippletide and help complete her delivery quest during Kindlers of the Flame Ch. 2. |
| Location | Rippletide |

Head to Rippletide and talk to Olneo the Merchant, located in front of the easternmost house. A cutscene will occur where you'll meet Tressa.
You can recruit Tressa as early as after completing the Kindlers of the Flame Part 2. It is highly recommended to reach level 20 before heading to Rippletide.
However, if you plan to get to Rippletide through Sheperd's Rock Pass, you need to be at least level 29 due to the danger level of that area.

After the scene, go to Theatropolis and talk to the Busy Shopkeep at the stall in front of the Weapon Shop. Tressa will make her delivery. Afterwards, she'll invite you to look around.

Speak with the Idle Shopkeep in front of the stall to the left side of the Inn. A scene will play out where Tressa decides to help him out.
Once you regain control, go back and speak to the Busy Shopkeep to whom you delivered potatoes earlier.

The Hooded Man who knocked down the plates on the Busy Shopkeep's store will return and cause a disturbance. You'll need to defeat him to progress An Encounter with Tressa side story.

Fast travel back to Rippletide, then report to Olneo to complete Tressa's quest and get her as a member of your party.
