How to Recruit Pius

Chapter Unlock Any time after the Prologue
Unlock Condition Find him in Cragspear and accompany him to your mother’s grave. Can be done after completing the Prologue.
Location Cragspear

Talk to Pius in Cragspear

Pius Location in Cragspear

Go to Cragspear and talk to Pius who is in front of the church. He'll ask you to take him to the protagonist's mother's grave to pay his respects.

You can recruit Pius upon completing the Prologue. However, it is highly recommended to head to Cragspear once you've reached level 20, due to the level of the monsters you'll need to face to get there.

Visit the Graveyard in Wishvale

Pius in Wishvale Graveyard

Once you're done speaking with Pius, fast travel to Wishvale then head to the graveyard. After the cutscene, Pius will join your party.

A bishop who spread the good word in the west, and a distant relative of the Protagonist's mother, Yusia. She showed him great kindness when he was a child, and now he hopes to return the favor. He is surprisingly fond of sweets, with fruit yogurt being one of his favorite foods.
