Heal and Manage Your HP and SP
Lyblac is fought immediately after Ceraphina, with no opportunity to rest between battles. The HP and SP your party has at the start of this fight are carried over from the previous encounter.
Because Lyblac applies heavy pressure from the opening turns, healing early and managing your remaining SP carefully is important to avoid losing control of the fight early.
Break Lyblac With Multi-Hit Skills
Lyblac begins the fight with 24 shields and frequently applies debuffs, making sustained battles especially dangerous. She is weak to Swords, Axes, Wind, and Light, but has fewer weaknesses than earlier bosses.
Use multi-hit skills such as Stormblade to chip through her shields. Keeping your party buffed helps offset her debuffs and maintain steady damage while breaking her.
Prepare for Her Accurst Flame Phase
As the fight progresses, Lyblac draws power from the Accurst Flame, making her significantly more dangerous. During this phase, her shield count can surge to 99, and she becomes capable of unleashing extremely punishing attacks if not dealt with immediately.
If Lyblac takes another turn, she will use Vorpal Strike, which deals damage equal to 99% of your party’s current HP and prevents healing. Defeating her before she can act again stops this attack, so maintaining steady pressure and using your strongest attacks is key to ending the fight successfully.
