· Phys. Def. +15%
· Fire / Ice / Lightning / Wind Resistance +15%
Required to recruit Goodwin		 Use Path Actions on Capable Culinarian in Atlasdam, Flatlands Region
Apple Pie EXP obtained +50% for 20 turns Inquire the Fastidious Housewife in Grandport Markets, Coastlands Region
Grape Juice EXP obtained +25% for 20 turns Unlock the Wishvale Tavern
Green Salad Grants the following for 10 turns:
· Elem. Def/Speed +10%		 Inquire the Main Street Bartender in Valore: Main Boulevard, Woodlands Region
Rejuvenating Seafood Saute Restore 10% HP / 5% SP at the end of the turn for 15 turns Use Path Actions on Tony's Mother in Rippletide, Coastlands Region

Consuming food will temporarily raise certain stats or give bonuses for a set number of turns. The likes of Ratatouille and Green Salad are best used when dealing with difficult boss fights. On the other hand, Apple Pie and Grape Juice can be consumed to help gain more EXP.

Food can also be used to complete Path Actions such as Inquire Further and Invite.

You may unlock recipes by using Path Actions on certain NPCs. You may use Inquire to obtain recipe books. You may also get both the food and the recipe through Contend, Purchase, and Entreat.

When you are creating your character, you will be able to choose a Favorite Dish that you will receive at the start of the game. You may also choose Ratatouille as a Belonging in order to immediately have it in your inventory.

Harvest Vegetables and Other Crops

Growing Vegetables Tutorial

You may grow vegetables and other Crops in the Fields to obtain ingredients for cooking. You will also need to win battles to increase the yield progress.

In order to unlock the fields, you must progress through Chapter 2 of the Kindlers of Flame questline. This is unlocked after you recruit Phenn and build the Tavern.

Raise Animals

Raise Chickens in the Ranch

You may raise the animals in the Ranch to obtain yield that you can use for cooking. You will also need to win battles to increase the yield progress.

You will need to progress through the Kindlers of the Flame Chapter 2 questline in order to unlock livestock. You will receive the quest for raising livestock after you have grown tomatoes in the vegetable garden.

Invite Residents Who Gather Ingredients

Ingredient Resident Skills
Residents Skills such as Seafood Gift and Game Supply are useful in obtaining ingredients. You may Invite residents that have these skills and place them in a house or facility in order to make use of them.

You may recruit Delitia in Emberglow for Game Supply, while you can Invite Marjim in Rippletide after getting the Queen Orsa ship for Seafood Gift.
