You can entreat NPCs by interacting with them using Path Actions in Octopath Traveler 0 (Octopath 0). Read on to learn how to entreat NPCs, and increase your success rate.

Entreat From The Path Actions Menu

Entreat Path Action

You can entreat an NPC by selecting the Entreat option on the Path Actions screen. Entreating gives you the chance to obtain items and equipment for free. However, whether you succeed depends on a success rate found to the right of the item you want to entreat.

Keep in mind that not all NPCs will have the option to Entreat, as you are only allowed to use 3 Path Actions per townsperson.
