Rotate Physical and Elemental Damage When He Uses Resistance Buffs
If Rosso buffs his resistances, he will increase either his Physical or Elemental defense significantly. Rotate to your back row and deal the opposite damage type. If he is using Physical Resistance, hit him with Lightning or Wind attacks, which also break down his Shield Points.
Keep attacking with the weapons he is weak to, as his Shield Points still drop normally even if the damage is resisted. Successfully breaking him cancels the buff, allowing for a big window of damage.
Prioritize Defense When He Uses Swift Stance
Prioritize defense when he enters Swift Stance, as this makes him do two attacks in one turn that deal absurd damage in total. Use defensive buffs and skills especially for your tanks and healers.
Tanky characters like Phenn, who have the Goad and Stout Wall skills can absorb the damage, while your back row uses multi-hit BP attacks of his weapon weaknesses to break him faster. Save the BP of your main damage dealers for when he is stunned.
