Unlock Condition Joins after defeating the Gluttonous Salamander in Atlasdam Flats during Bestower of Fame Ch. 3.
Location Atlasdam Flats

Defeat the Gluttonous Salamander

Gluttonous Salamander Cyrus
Head to Atlasdam Flats and speak with the middle aged man who asks you to defeat the Gluttonous Salamander. After defeating the monster, he discovers a leather bag inside it containing a tome written in an ancient language.

He then directs you to Atlasdam, the City of Scholars, where you can bring the tome to Cyrus for deciphering.

Speak to Cyrus at the Royal Academy of Atlasdam

Talk to Cyrus
Travel to the Royal Academy of Atlasdam and show the tome to Cyrus. He becomes intrigued and promises to study it further. Rest at the Atlasdam Inn, then return to the Royal Academy the next day to meet him again.

Cyrus will ask you to follow him to the Atlasdam Flats Graveyard to continue the investigation. Cyrus joins your party after.
