Action Skills can be equipped by going to a tavern in town. Taverns are indicated by a mug icon in the map.
Talk to the bartender and select Change Skills. This will allow you to equip and unequip Action Skills of party members according to the available Mastery Skills you have in your inventory.
A character can equip up to 3 Battle Action Skills, and 2 Support Action Skills at a time.

Action Skills that you equipped can be found under Learned Skills during battles. You can use them as combat actions to inflict damage and target enemy weaknesses.
Unlike Battle Skills, Action Skills can be equipped by any character and is not limited to specific jobs. They are usually indicated by a green weapon icon.
These skills can be used to make up for missing type advantages and dealing heavier attacks.

Some townspeople will have Action Skills as a reward if you contend with them. Keep in mind that contending will lead to battle, so be sure to note the difference between a townsperon's level compared to your own. If you lose the battle, you will fail to contend, and lose reputation.

Action Skills can also be found as a reward for entreating. How successfully you can entreat is determined by your influence stat and your town reputation.
Increasing your Fame influence stat will give you higher success rates for entreating. However, if you have a low town reputation, you will find it harder to succeed on entreat checks.
Should You Choose Wealth, Power, or Fame?
