How to Recruit Alfyn

Chapter Unlock Kindlers of the Flame Ch. 5 and Master of All Ch. 2
Unlock Condition Find him on the Path to Waterpool Caves and help him treat his mother. Can be done after Kindlers of the Flame Ch. 5 during Master of All Ch. 2 and requires Town Level 6.
Location Path to Waterpool Caves

Travel to Path to Waterpool Caves

Alfyn Encounter
Head toward Path to Waterpool Caves once your town reaches Level 6. You will run into Alfyn after defeating a monster blocking the path, but its poison affects you and Alfyn brings you to his home to recover.

Collect Snowgrass in Flamesgrace Wilds

Alfyn Encounter Battle
Travel with Alfyn to Flamesgrace Wilds to gather Snowgrass root for his mother’s medicine, and defeat the monsters that appear while searching for it.

Treat His Mother

Alfyn Joins Party
Return to Alfyn’s home with the Snowgrass root and help prepare the cure. After his mother recovers, Alfyn decides to travel with you and joins your party.
