Manually Track Shield Break
During both encounters with Pelagia the Conjurer, including her Ruin form, she hides her shield points behind a dark fog at the start of the battle and whenever she recovers from a break.
Since her shields are hidden, you will need to manually keep track of how many times you hit her weaknesses. Breaking Pelagia removes the fog effect.
Adapt to Her Weakness and Elemental Switching
She will randomly switch both her weaknesses and the elemental attacks she uses throughout the fight. Each switch changes which attack types are effective and determines the skills she uses next.
Because of this, relying on a single damage type can quickly lead to wasted turns. Bring a party with access to multiple weapon types and elements so you can continue dealing damage regardless of which weakness set is active.
Interrupt Her Boost Mode Attacks and Summons
At 60% HP or lower, Pelagia gains access to more dangerous patterns. She can enter boost mode and prepare a powerful multi-hit attack tied to her current elemental set.
In addition, Pelagia can summon a Phantom Soldier after recovering from a break.
Whenever she enters boost mode, prioritize breaking her before she can act again to prevent her strongest attacks, and be ready to manage or quickly defeat her summoned ally to keep the fight under control.
