Recruit TressaRecruit Tressa
Head to Rippletide and talk to Olneo the Merchant, located in front of the easternmost house. A cutscene will occur where you'll meet Tressa. Afterwards, you will have to complete her Side Story in order to recruit her.
You can recruit Tressa as early as after completing the Kindlers of the Flame Part 2.

Unlock the Amity Mechanic
To unlock the Amity Mechanic, Wishvale must reach Town Level 6. This will unlock the Inquire Further Path Action, which will raise your Amity Level with a character
This Path Action may require you to obtain specific items.
Increase Amity With Tressa
Increase Amity with Tressa by using Inquire Further twice. You will need a Tressalad and a Cait Furball in order to succcessfully do this.
Once you have reached her maximum Amity level, you will obtain the Lucky Coin.
How to Use Lucky Coin
Equip as an Accessory for More Rare Monster Encounters
Select Equipment in the Menu and choose one of your active party members. Afterwards, you may equip the Lucky Coin in one of their Accessory slots.
The Lucky Coin works exactly like the More Rare Monsters mastery, as it boosts your rare monster encounter rate. This allows you to run into enemies such as Caits more often.
