Description Target the corresponding icons to gain either increased Attack or increased Defense for Mario's whole party. Watch out for the Poison Mushrooms that will slow down your cursor!

Paper Mario TTYD Switch Remake - Gold Star

Mario gains access to the special move Power Lift after getting the Gold Star at the end of Chapter 3. This also increases Mario's SP gauge to 4 max SP.

Power Lift Action Command Timing

Move the L Stick to Target and Press A

The Action Command for Power Lift requires the player to use the L Stick to move the cursor onto the target you want and press the A button to get the target. Orange up arrows increase the Attack meter, blue up arrows increase the Defense meter, and Poison Mushrooms will slow you down for a few seconds. Once a meter is full, you gain a boost to the corresponding stat.
