Mash ZR to Fill Meter

The Action Command for Ground Pound requires the player to mash ZR to fill up the meter. This will allow Yoshi to reach his target and start his barrage of attacks.

Ground Pound Stylish Move Timing

Press A Once Yoshi is Over the Target and After Bouncing on the Floor

The Stylish Move timing for Ground Pound requires the player to press the A button once Yoshi is over the target enemy before the meter disappears. This executes Yoshi's first stylish move. After Yoshi finishes his flurry of attacks and bounces on the floor, press A again upon landing from the bounce to perform his second stylish move.
