Hammer Throw Action Command Timing
Tilt the L Stick Left and Release Once the Star Lights Up
The Action Command for Hammer Throw requires the player to tilt and hold the L stick to the left. Release the L Stick once the star icon at the end lights up. This will allow Mario's hammer attack to do more damage.
Hammer Throw Stylish Move Timing
Press A Once Mario Throws the Hammer and Again Once Mario Lands His Flip
The Stylish Move timing for Hammer Throw requires the player to press the A button after releasing the L Stick, while the hammer is midair. This makes Mario do a flip as the hammer flies to its target. Press the A button again once he lands his flip to perform his second stylish move.
