+Def / -Spd

The best IVs for Young Lissa are +Def and -Spd. Boosting Def improves Lissa's physical bulk and enhances the effects of New War Axe. +Res is also an option as it is a superboon and allows Lissa to withstand damage from both physical and magical attackers.

Lissa's Spd is beyong salvageable at only base 17 and no amount of investment will allow her to outspeed her foes or even prevent follow-up attacks. It is better to rely on her amazing bulk instead of trying to improve an otherwise useless stat.

+Def for a +10 merge

We recommend +Def when merging Young Lissa up to +10 as it has the best benefits by enhancing both bulk and either sustain or damage.

Young Lissa's New War Axe grants bonus Atk/Def/Res to Lissa based on 25% of her foe's Atk stat, -4 (min 5, max 14), grants her a Tempo effect, cuts the effect of 【Deep Wounds】 on Lissa in half, and grants her 80% damage reduction against follow-up attacks.

Additionally, New War Axe has a variable effect depending on the Special skill Lissa has equipped.

If Lissa has an offensive Special skill equipped, New War Axe deals bonus damage based on a percentage of her Def stat, where the percentage is dependent on Lissa's maximum Special cooldown count value.
