What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Weapon skill grants bonus stats, true damage, 50% damage reduction piercing, and 70% damage reduction on foe's first attack to unit, and grants an additional action after combat every three turns. ・Exclusive Special grants Null Guard and grants an additional action once triggered (once per turn). ・Duo Skill grants unit an extra action. |
Might: 14 Range: 2 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). If unit initiates combat or if foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = 5 + number of foes within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit × 3 (max 14; treated as 14 starting in unit's second combat in player phase and enemy phase), deals damage = 20% of unit's Spd (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by 50% during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials). If unit initiates combat, reduces damage from foe's first attack during combat by 70% ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and also, grants another action to unit after combat and inflicts "restricts movement to 1 space" on unit and Pair Up cohort through their next action. (Will not trigger again for 2 turns after triggering.) |
Cooldown Count = 2 Boosts Special damage by 30% of unit's Spd when Special triggers. Neutralizes effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit during combat. If unit initiates combat, after combat, if unit's Special triggered and unit survives, grants another action to unit and inflicts "restricts movement to 1 space" on unit and Pair Up cohort through their next action (once per turn). (This effect has priority over other similar effects; in such cases, these other similar effects are treated as not having triggered.) |
If unit initiates combat, deals 7 damage to foe as combat begins (effects that reduce damage "during combat" do not apply; will not reduce foe's HP below 1), grants Atk/Spd+7 to unit during combat, and applies 【Divine Vein (Flame)】 on 5 spaces in a line centered on foe's space (oriented left to right based on the direction unit is facing) for 1 turn after combat. 【Divine Vein (Flame)】 Applies the following effects on space: Acts as difficult terrain for foes with Range = 2 (moving over this space costs +1 movement; movement cost cannot exceed unit's allowed movement; "cannot be slowed by terrain" effects do not apply). At start of enemy phase, deals 7 damage to foe, and also, as combat begins, deals an additional 7 damage to foe (effects that reduce damage "during combat" do not apply; will not reduce foe's HP below 1). (Divine Vein effects do not stack; replaces any existing Divine Vein effect; Divine Vein effects applied simultaneously cancel each other out.) |
Enables 【Canto (Rem.; Min 1)】. Inflicts Spd/Res-4 on foe during combat and unit deals +7 damage including when dealing damage with a Special triggered before combat. 【Canto (Rem.; Min 1)】 After an attack, Assist skill, or structure destruction, unit can move spaces = any movement not already used that turn (min 1; if unit used a movement skill that warped them, its remaining movement is 1). |
At start of turn, grants Spd+6 to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn. If unit's Spd ≥ foe's Spd-5, neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks during combat. If it is an odd-numbered turn, grants Spd+6 to unit during combat. |
Duo Skill |
---|
Grants unit another action. (May be used only if unit has already entered combat during the current turn.) (Duo Skills can be used once per map by tapping the Duo button. Duo Skills cannot be used by units deployed using Pair Up.) |
Duel |
---|
If unit is 5★ and level 40 and unit's stats total less than 205, treats unit's stats as 205 in modes like Arena. (Higher-scoring opponents will appear. Stat total calculation excludes any values added by merges and skills.) |
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |

◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Summer Gullveig are +Spd and -Res. Boosting Spd improves Gullveig's Spd from base 47 to base 51, allowing her to outspeed a majority of the metagame.
Summer Gullveig's Res is unsalvageable at only base 17 and is a safe bane to take as she will fall to any decent magic attacker whenever she is attacked.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Summer Gullveig up to +10 to ensure she outspeeds her foes even through significant investment.

This is the standard offensive build for modern day nukes, with Flared Sparrow and Occultist's Strike to deal pre-combat damage. Fatal Smoke 4 prevents healing and ensures enemies are at low HP before they get bursted down.

Summer Gullveig's base kit already works well offensively, with S/R Far Trace to provide mobility instead of additional damage. Odd Spd Wave grants a Null Follow-Up effect which is quite good and better than most other options in the C slot.

Summer Gullveig is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Summer Gullveig's exclusive weapon Golden Sunlight grants bonus Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat equal to 5 plus 3x the number of foes within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on Gullveig, grants bonus true damage equal to 20% of Gullveig's Spd, and reduces her foe's non-Special percentage-based damage reduction effects by 50%, allowing her to nuke down her foes with her high firepower.
Golden Sunlight also grants Summer Gullveig 70% damage reduction on her foe's first attack, improving her survivability. Gullveig is reliant on this effect to protect her from her foe's attacks, as her bulk isn't exactly ideal.
Finally, Golden Sunlight also grants Summer Gullveig an extra action after combat, but is inflicted with the Gravity status. This effect cannot trigger again for 2 turns after it has triggered as well.
Summer Gullveig's exclusive Special skill Time and Light boosts Special damage by 30% of her Spd and neutralizes effects that slow down her Special cooldown charges.
Upon triggering, Time and Light grants Summer Gullveig an extra action after combat, but is inflicted with the Gravity status. This extra action effect has priority over other similar effects, including Golden Sunlight.
Summer Gullveig also comes with a Duo Skill that grants her an extra action upon activation. This extra action effect does not come with the Gravity status, but can only be activated if Summer Gullveig has already entered combat this turn.
Combining Golden Sunlight, Time and Light, and her Duo Skill, Summer Gullveig can act up to four times in one turn!
Summer Gullveig's defensive stats are quite poor, with only base 40 HP, 24 Def, and 17 Res.
As a glass cannon unit, she is heavily reliant on the damage reduction effect of Golden Sunlight to survive combat.
Aim to have her enter combat against foes that fall in one hit to prevent Gullveig from taking unnecessary damage.
Summer Gullveig takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
